MINUTES OF THE GRADY  COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 28, 2016

                The Board of the Grady County Commissioners met on this day for a regularly scheduled meeting with the following board members: Mike Lennier, Windle Hardy, and Ralph Beard.

                The meeting was called to order and roll call: Mike Lennier, Windle Hardy, and Ralph Beard.

                Windle Hardy made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 21, 2016 meeting. It was seconded by Ralph Beard. AYE: Mike Lennier, AYE: Windle Hardy, and AYE: Ralph Beard.

                Mike Lennier made a motion to approve the following blanket purchase order numbers 172656 to 172672, & 172676, & 172678 to 172684.  It was seconded by Windle Hardy.  AYE: Mike Lennier, AYE: Windle Hardy, and AYE: Ralph Beard.

GCEMA/Fire Report: Paulette Nicholas informed the board that there is a good chance of rain-northwest part of the state may get snow. Fire report: Christie Kern reminded the board that the Fire Department’s Christmas Party is Saturday at 7PM, tonight at 7PM is the fire chiefs meeting, upcoming training for Haz-Mat and Emergency driving, several grass fires, 1 structure fire, and discussed the recent accident on the H E Bailey Turnpike.

                Safety Director, George Manning informed the board that County road 1300-East Highway 81-would be closed for railroad work, will be attending the ACCO meeting, need to order safety signs and MSDS posters. Mr. Manning stated the USDA renovation is coming along well and hope to have it finished next week.

                At 9:15 AM-Windle Hardy made a motion to accept the bid for a Lowboy for District #1. The bid made by Superior Trailer Sales of Okla. City, OK 73128 for the price of $38,750.00.   It was seconded by Mike Lennier.  AYE: Mike Lennier, AYE: Windle Hardy, and AYE: Ralph Beard. Other bidders: Irwin Trailers LLC of Meeker, OK did not submit a bid price and C-All MFG Inc of Atoka, OK-$46,150.00.

                Windle Hardy made a motion to accept the bids on 6-months bids for commonly used items for all districts. See bids. It was seconded by Ralph Beard. AYE: Mike Lennier, AYE: Windle Hardy, and AYE: Ralph Beard.

                Windle Hardy made a motion to accept the applications for permits from Tom-Stack LLC, permits to cross with a pipeline, a county road or highway of Sandrock Rd of Section 3-T8N-R5W & Section 35-T9N-R5W.  It was seconded by Ralph Beard.  AYE: Mike Lennier, AYE: Windle Hardy, and AYE: Ralph Beard.

                Mike Lennier made a motion to approve the transfers and appropriations for the following department: Sheriff Services.  It was seconded by Windle Hardy.  AYE: Mike Lennier, AYE: Windle Hardy, and AYE: Ralph Beard.

                Mike Lennier made a motion to approve the monthly reports for the following county office: Election Board Secretary.   It was seconded by Windle Hardy. AYE: Mike Lennier, AYE: Windle Hardy, and AYE: Ralph Beard.

                Be it resolved by the Board of the Grady County Commissioners to review and approve claims generated by the Grady County governing bodies during the month of November and before, and authorize or deny payment of such claims.

                Be it resolved by the Board of the Grady County Commissioners that the County Treasurer be directed to deposit the following check for T-AFPF-#1-T-2-Enlink Midstream-$1000.00

                Be it resolved by the Board of the Grady County Commissioners that the County Treasurer be directed to deposit the following checks for the Sheriff-B4-1-Integrity-$50.00, Askins-$50.00, Collins-$50.00, & Canadian Valley Tech-$3142.12

                Be it resolved by the Board of the Grady County Commissioners that the County Treasurer be directed to deposit the following checks for SWB-911-1-MciMetro-$14.16, Southwestern Bell-$4656.21, OK Comm.-$286.63, Birch-$225.72, Granite-$120.28, Compliance-$59.50, $14.80, $2.50, $3.10, & CAN-$4.18, SWB-911-2-Head Start-$2.95 & TerraCom-$15.86

                Be it resolved by the Board of the Grady County Commissioners that the County Treasurer be directed to deposit the following checks for General Fund-R-2-Merit Energy-oil & gas revenue-$120.71 & USDA-rent-$3249.51

                Mike Lennier made a motion to adjourn. It was seconded by Ralph Beard.  AYE: Mike Lennier, AYE: Windle Hardy,  and AYE: Ralph Beard.
